Pedestrian subway with printed walls and varying LED lights

Illuminated Hammerglass panels in a previously dark and unsafe pedestrian subway from Täby Centrum to the bus and railway station. The steel structure was designed by Hammerglass designers.

  • Hammerglass Opal 12 mm with LED lighting in varying colours
  • Hammerglass Clear with digitally printed townscape and lighting
  • Overhead lighting in Hammerglass Opal lights up the subway roof

All the panels were individually dimensioned and then CNC-cut to achieve a perfect fit. The digital-printed pattern flows without interruption from one panel to the next. The panels are fixed to the underlying steel structure by means of Hammerglass Fixpoints.
