Pedestrian subway with printed walls and varying LED lights

Illuminated Hammerglass panels in a previously dark and unsafe pedestrian subway from Täby Centrum to the bus and railway station. The steel structure was designed by Hammerglass designers.

All the panels were individually dimensioned and then CNC-cut to achieve a perfect fit. The digital-printed pattern flows without interruption from one panel to the next. The panels are fixed to the underlying steel structure by means of Hammerglass Fixpoints.

Noise barrier with a 45-degree bend

A 45-degree bend at the top of all panels to reinforce the structure. This inward-facing bend in the barrier contributes to the effective reduction of low-frequency noise from trains.
