Hammerglass Single was installed to protect large leaded stained glass windows of about 6 metres. The panes were spliced with a tongue and groove system and mounted with transparent Hammerglass angles to secure.
The main goal was to protect against vandalism without altering the basic outer appearance of the church window. Hammerglass was chosen for its lightweight (half the weight of regular glass) which enables installation in existing constructions as well as high security classification.
